The Limo Company
TLC – The Limo Company is a Partnership comprising of husband and wife, Bernard and Caroline Reid O’Brien, Cloone Road, Ferry bank Waterford. With the assistance of Waterford City Enterprise Board in the form of funding and mentoring, TLC was set-up in early 2010 and has been steadily growing despite the economic downturn.
As PAYE workers, Bernard and I had very little knowledge about running a business. Audrey Caffrey was recommended to us by a friend who had engaged her services when setting up his business. From the outset of our first meeting with Audrey in April 2011 and for the duration of our time with her, which continues as needed, we felt assured that we had taken on the best person to assist us with maximising our business potential.
She assisted us in the following areas:
- Process Analysis – helping us to identify flaws in the business processes that caused us the most problems.
- Cash Management – incorporating Bank Reconciliations, Cash Flow Management, Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Accounting Skills – including understanding and preparing Income & Expenditure Statements, VAT Calculations, Revenue Requirements and Credit Control.
- Streamlining our business processes to ensure that they were as labour saving as possible and as a result, freeing up our time to focus on our core business and achieving that all important Work-Life balance.
From our time working with Audrey and in taking on board all her recommendations and advice, we now feel more confident in our ability to run our business efficiently and effectively. Her down-to-earth approach coupled with her expert knowledge of best practice office procedures and preparation of office accounts were crucial to us at start-up stage and will see us through for years to come.
Bernard and I would have no hesitation in recommending Audrey and BPS and would be happy to be contacted to endorse her services.
